Shoryuken killed our Utah Thread
Shoryuken.com did some updating this past weekend and after coming back this morning our beloved Utah Thread has gone missing. Not sure if we will get it back or if we should create a new one but we do have a temporary thread to visit.

UTSF 801 presents Game Grid Battles
When: June 4th starts at 12:30pm
Where: Game Grid in the Valley Fair Mall
Games: Super Street Fighter 4 AE, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Mortal Kombat 9
Systems: SSF4 AE on Arcade, MVC3 and MK9 on Xbox 360
Cost: 5 dollars for each tournament you play in. For the SSF4 AE you must put 2 tokens in for each match.
Prize: First place 70% of entry fees. Second place gets 30% Venue fee will be taken from total pot before payout.
Rules: All games are double elimination 2/3. No infinites in MK9. Bring your own controller for MK9 and MVC3. If you pause a match you lose that round.

*Saturday* May 14. Game Grid. Tournament. This is not a ranbat, since only AE will be played, it is a small farewell tourney.

Where: Game Grid at Valley Fair Mall
When: 12:30 pm, 10 am it opens for casuals
Entry free: 5 dollars per person. Must still feed the machine.
2 casual setups on the side, Gustavo will be going over Ryu to teach basics such as plinking, option select, spacing.
Break down of prize: 1: 70% 2: 30% 3: Pat on the back
BONUS EVENT: Salty MM. 1. Wade vs Paul 2. Lil Mario vs Uy 3. Scott vs Matty (You must tell me if you are able and willing to compete in these money matches, if not, I will find suitable replacements)
Please do not ask me to have you in a MM.
RENZO WILL NOT BE ATTENDING. So someone else can break top 3.
All matches will be recorded and uploaded within the week.
